Son Jun-ho is the latest addition to the China Soccer League (CSL) and has already made a significant impact on his debut season. The 28-year-old South Korean forward has been praised for his pace, strength, and finishing ability, which have helped him score multiple goals in his first few games.
The son of former professional footballer Lee Jun-ho, Son Jun-ho began his career at the Seoul Euljiro FC before moving to South Korea's top-flight league, K-League. He then went on to play for various clubs in Japan, including Vegalta Sendai and Sagan Tosu.
In January 2021, Son Jun-ho signed with CSL side Guangzhou R&F, where he played for two seasons before joining the Shanghai Shenhua in the summer of 2022. In his time at Shanghai Shenhua, Son Jun-ho scored 14 goals in 27 appearances, earning him praise from fans and teammates alike.
